The Stockton field hockey team scored a pair of second-half goals to erase a 1-0 deficit and defeat Kean 2-1 in an NJAC road game. With the win, the Ospreys evened their overall record at 5-5 and improved to 2-1 in league games. Aimee Rendine (West Milford/West Milford) scored the game-winner and Alison Capelli (Mt. Holly/Rancocas Valley) also netted a goal for Stockton. Goalkeeper Caitlin Nolan (Riverside/Holy Cross) registered 11 saves in the win.

Kean jumped out to an early 1-0 lead with a tally just 8:42 into the game. The teams each registered eight shots in the first half, which ended with the Cougars in front 1-0. In the second half, Capelli controlled a loose ball in front of the cage and scored an her team-leading fifth goal of the season at 50:05 to knot the contest 1-1.

Rendine later tipped in a ball from Kristen Woodrow (West Deptford/West Deptford) with just under eight minutes remaining to give the Ospreys a 2-1 lead. Kean attempted 18 penalty corners in the second half, including three with no time on the clock, but the Stockton defense held fast for the 2-1 victory.
