Jackie Turner

Boxscore
The Stockton field hockey team scored four goals in a 20-minute span of the second half and went on to a 5-1 victory over Philadelphia Biblical University in a non-conference game. Freshman Jackie Turner (Medford/ Shawnee) scored her first two career goals and Sarah Duckett (Winslow Twp./Winslow Twp.) added a goal and an assist for the Ospreys.

Turner scored the only goal of the first half on a penalty stroke and then kicked off Stockton’s four-goal second-half binge with her second marker of the game, assisted by Duckett. After Alison Capelli (Mt. Holly/Rancocas Valley) and Aimee Rendine (West Milford/West Milford) netted consecutive goals, Duckett ended the scoring spree with a tally assisted by Samantha Horner (Newfield/Buena). Philadelphia Biblical foiled the shutout bid with a goal for 90 seconds before the final whistle, creating the 5-1 result in favor of the Ospreys.
