The Stockton field hockey team was blanked by 12th-ranked Rowan 2-0 in an NJAC home game. The Ospreys suffered their third consecutive loss as they muddle through the most difficult part of their schedule down the stretch. Goalkeeper Caitlin Nolan (Riverside/Holy Cross) made a season-high 20 saves, including one on a penalty stroke in the first half. Sarah Stafford (Pennsville/Pennsville) also recorded three defensive saves for the Ospreys.

Rowan dominated the game with advantages of 29-2 in shots and 21-1 in penalty corners. The Profs took a 1-0 lead just 3:10 after the opening whistle. Nolan denied a penalty stroke with 17:28 on the first half clock and the Profs led 1-0 at halftime. Rowan stayed on the attack throughout the second half and finally was rewarded with another goal at the 66-minute mark for the 2-0 final score.
