The Stockton field hockey team absorbed a 4-0 loss to Scranton in the final regular season home game for the Ospreys. The defeat pushed Stockton’s current skid to five consecutive games, including three straight shutouts.

Goalkeeper Caitlin Nolan (Riverside/Holy Cross) registered seven saves in the game. Scranton scored the only goal of the first half on a penalty stroke at 25:05 and broke the game open with three more tallies in the second half for the 4-0 final.

Prior to the game, Stockton recognized seven seniors who were playing in their final home game. The players, Alison Capelli (Mt.Holly/Rancocas Valley), Mary Kate Goldy (Pennsauken/Pennsauken), Kristen Woodrow (West Deptford/West Deptford), Aimee Rendine (West Milford/West Milford), Sarah Stafford (Pennsville/Pennsville), Katie Walsh (Collingswood/ Collingswood) and Caitlin Nolan, were part of Stockton’s first field hockey recruiting class and the program’s first four-year letter winners.
