Stockton goalkeeper Caitlin Nolan (Riverside/Holy Cross) tallied five saves to notch her first shutout of the season. Stevens outshot the Ospreys 13-4 and produced a 10-2 advantage in penalty corners, yet Stockton was able to prevail on the late goal.

Although Stevens dominated the first half 8-0 in shots and 7-0 in penalty corners, the teams went to intermission scoreless. Nolan made three saves in the period. Stockton was able to regroup at halftime and the level of play equalized in the second half. Capelli received a feed from Kristen Woodrow (West Deptford/West Deptford) and slapped an eight-yard shot past the Stevens goalie with just 3:52 remaining for a 1-0 lead. The Ospreys were able to protect the one-goal margin for a 1-0 triumph.
