The Stockton field hockey team evened its overall record at 5-5 with a 3-1 victory over Manhattanville. Freshman Samantha Horner (Newfield/Buena) scored her first two career goals late in the second half to propel the Ospreys to their second consecutive win. Alison Capelli (Mt. Holly/Rancocas Valley) also netted a goal for Stockton while goalkeeper Caitlin Nolan (Riverside/Holy Cross) recorded nine saves in the match.

Capelli gave Stockton a 1-0 lead at 11:18 with an assist by Kristen Woodrow (West Deptford/West Deptford), but Manhattanville tied the game with an unassisted goal at 22:20. The 1-1 deadlock remained until late in the second half. Horner stroked her first college goal with 6:36 on the clock to put Stockton ahead 2-1. Woodrow registered her second assist of the game on the scoring play. Horner struck again for an insurance goal just 88 seconds later with an assist by Aimee Rendine (West Milford/West Milford) and the Ospreys went on to the 3-1 victory.
