The Stockton field hockey team was edged 2-1 by Philadelphia Biblical in a non-conference home game. The Ospreys fell behind 2-0 and were unable to rally from the deficit. Aimee Rendine (West Milford/West Milford) scored an unassisted goal and goalkeeper Caitlin Nolan (Riverside/Holy Cross) recorded seven saves.

Philadelphia Biblical took a 1-0 lead with 13:31 left in the first half and then doubled the lead to 2-0 seven minutes later. Stockton cut its deficit in half on a goal by Rendine following a penalty corner with 2:19 to play in the period and the Ospreys trailed 2-1 at halftime. Neither team scored in the second half as the squads combined for just five shots in the period and Philadelphia Biblical held off Stockton for the 2-1 final.
