The Stockton field hockey team broke through with a goal on a penalty corner early in overtime to defeat Stevens Tech 1-0 in a non-conference game. Aimee Rendine (West Milford/West Milford) scored the game-winner with an assist by Kristen Woodrow (West Deptford/West Deptford) just 2:20 into the first sudden-death overtime period.

Stockton dominated statistically, yet Stevens was able to keep the Ospreys off the board throughout regulation. Stockton outshot the Ducks 14-4 and held a 19-3 advantage on penalty corners in the game. The Ospreys finally converted a penalty corner in overtime when Rendine potted the game-winner for the 1-0 victory. Goalkeeper Caitlin Nolan (Riverside/Holy Cross) made three saves to earn her first shutout of the season.
