The Stockton field hockey team ended a three-game losing streak with a 2-1 victory over Susquehanna in a non-conference game. Aimee Rendine (West Milford/West Milford) and Jen Jones (Hammonton/St. Joseph) each scored one goal in the first half for the Ospreys. Goalkeeper Caitlin Nolan (Riverside/ Holy Cross) registered 10 saves in the game.

Rendine gave Stockton a 1-0 lead with an assist by Courtney Clemens (Bordentown/Bordentown) 8:01 after the opening whistle and Jones doubled the lead with an assist from Kristen Woodrow (West Deptford/West Deptford) with just 1:03 remaining in the half. Stockton outshot Susquehanna 11-5 in the period and led 2-0 at the break. Susquehanna cut Stockton’s lead to 2-1 on an unassisted goal with 28:50 left in the game. Susquehanna outshot the Ospreys 10-4 in the second half but Stockton held off the Crusaders for the 2-1 victory.
