Fifth-ranked Richard Stockton (1-1) pounded Penn State Abington (0-2) 77-48 for its first win of the season. Freshman Nnamdi Usuwa (Colonia/Colonia) led the Ospreys with a game-high 13 points in his second college game. Kai Massaquoi (Lawnside/Haddon Hts.) and Michael Farrow (Whitesboro/Middle Twp.) tossed in 12 points apiece while Santini Lancioni (Runnemede/Paul VI) also reached double figures with 10 points in the game.

Lancioni hit two early three-pointers as Stockton raced out to a 10-2 lead and never looked back. Usuwa scored seven points during an 18-4 run that put the Ospreys ahead 39-18 late in the first half. Stockton shot 60 percent from the floor in the period (18-30) and Farrow contributed 10 points to the Ospreys’ 43-22 lead at the break.

Stockton scored the first 15 points of the second half as Massaquoi led the balanced spurt with five markers. The Ospreys held Penn State Abington scoreless for the initial 8:02 of the period while taking an insurmountable 58-22 lead. Stockton stayed in front by at least 29 points the rest of the way and cruised to its first victory of the season, 77-48.
