Fifth-ranked Richard Stockton (3-1) won the Vassar Invitational with a 91-62 rout of host Vassar (2-1). Santini Lancioni (Runnemede/Paul VI) scored a game-high 20 points and was named the tournament MVP. Omar Smith (Newark/Central) and Kai Massaquoi (Lanwside/Haddon Hts.) were chosen to the All-Tournament Team after tallying 15 and 10 points respectively. DiAndre Brown (Sicklerville/Camden Co. Tech) added a double-double of 11 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.

Smith scored five early points to propel Stockton to a 9-0 lead. Brown later notched the first three points of a 9-0 run that put the Ospreys ahead 30-15. After a Vassar bucket, Stockton reeled off 10 more points, with six coming on consecutive three-pointers by Pat Kelly (Cape May CH/Wildwood Catholic), for a commanding 40-17 advantage. Lancioni scored 17 first-half points and Stockton shot 55.6 percent from the field including 6-9 from three-point range in building a 57-30 lead at the break.

The Ospreys maintained a comfortable lead of at least 23 points for the entire second half, with the margin ballooning all the way to 33 points on two occasions. Brown led the offense with eight second half points. All 14 Stockton players saw at least five minutes of court action and 11 Ospreys scored in the 91-62 victory.
