Boxscore Stockton took the lead in the first half with a 9-0 spurt to begin the game. The Ospreys used another 9-0 run to boost the margin to 13 points at 36-23 with 2:54 on the clock. After Haddix sank a layup in the closing seconds, the Ospreys took a 40-27 lead into the locker room. Massaquoi led Stockton with 10 points on perfect 5-5 shooting and the Ospreys shot 56.3 percent from the floor. Stockton led 46-31 after a basket by Michael Farrow (Whitesboro/Middle Twp.) with 15:09 to play but only scored nine points in the next eight minutes as Brooklyn pulled within 55-53. Brown responded with jumper followed by two free throws by Smith and another bucket by Brown that capped the game-clinching 6-0 spurt. The Ospreys went 13-14 at the free throw line in the final 3:13 to seal their fifth straight win, 78-66. |
