Boxscore
Richard Stockton (5-2) could not shake the rust from a 12-day layoff as poor shooting hampered the Ospreys in a 68-55 loss to unbeaten Lebanon Valley (8-0). The Ospreys shot an icy 3-22 (13.6%) from three-point range and 2-13 (15.4%) at the free throw line. Julia Fagan (New Britain, CT/New Britain) notched her second double-double of the season with team highs of 12 points and 11 rebounds. Aspen Price-Perry (Lindenwold/ Lindenwold) tossed in 11 points for the Ospreys.

Shannon Lane (Ocean City/Ocean City) scored the opening basket, giving Stockton its only lead of the game. The Ospreys tallied just nine points in the first 15 minutes and trailed 25-11 after a layup by Fagan finally got them into double figures with 4:42 on the first-half clock. Stockton shot 8-38 overall (21.1%), 0-11 from beyond the arc and 1-6 at the line in the period while Lebanon Valley connected at 53.8 percent for a 33-17 lead at the break.

The Ospreys shot better in the second half (43.6%) and actually outscored Lebanon Valley 38-35 after intermission, but they could not make a serious dent in their deficit. The closest Stockton got was 11 points at 66-55 on a layup by Aliyah Nelson (Pleasantville/St. Joseph) with 26 seconds remaining, well after the outcome had been decided in the 68-55 defeat.
