Richard Stockton (8-3) won the Greyhound Starters Classic with a 72-71 victory over tournament-host Moravian (2-8). Santini Lancioni (Runnemede/Paul VI) was named the tournament MVP after shooting 5-7 from three-point range and scoring a career-high 26 points. Kai Massaquoi (Lawnside/ Haddon Hts.) earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team with 13 points and Michael Farrow (Whitesboro/Middle Twp.) tallied 11 points.

The Ospreys shot a blistering 66.7 percent (16-24) from the field in the first half, including 8-10 from beyond the arc. Farrow scored nine early points and Lancioni hit two three-pointers as Stockton raced out to a 23-6 lead in the first eight minutes. The Ospreys later netted just five points and committed five turnovers in the final 6:27 of the half, settling for a 43-36 lead at the break.

In the second half, Lancioni scored the first seven points of an 11-0 run that put Stockton on top 59-45 with 12:06 remaining. Moravian chipped away at the margin and pulled within 68-66 with just 12 seconds to play, but Lancioni went 4-4 at the line to give the Ospreys a 72-68 lead before an inconsequential Moravian three-pointer in the final second resulted in a 72-71 final score.
