Che’Na Thompson (Salem/Salem) scored the game-winning basket on a putback with 1.7 seconds remaining to give Richard Stockton (7-5) a 61-59 victory over Lehman (5-10). Julia Fagan (New Britain, CT/New Britain) registered her third double-double of the season with a team-high 18 points and a game-high 15 rebounds. Aspen Price-Perry (Lindenwold/ Lindenwold) contributed 12 points while Thompson finished with eight markers.

After both teams briefly held six-point leads in the second half, the score was tied 52-52 with 3:43 to play. Consecutive baskets by Aliyah Nelson (Pleasantville/St. Joseph) and Fagan gave Stockton a 56-52 edge but Lehman rallied to tie the game at 59 on two free throws with 1:24 on the clock. Neither team could take the lead until Thompson grabbed an offensive rebound and scored the game-winning basket with just 1.7 seconds remaining to lift Stockton to the 61-59 triumph.

Neither team led by more than five in a close first half that included seven lead changes. The Ospreys went ahead 8-3 after two free throws by Fagan with 4:02 gone. Nancy White (Ocean City/Ocean City) later put Stockton ahead 9-4 on a free throw with 13:25 on the clock. Price-Perry ht a jumper that gave the Ospreys their final five-point cushion at 22-17 but the half fittingly ended in a 30-30 tie.
