Richard Stockton (7-6, 2-2) hung tough for most of the game but could not pull the upset as the Ospreys fell to third-ranked Kean (16-1, 5-0) 63-51. Julia Fagan (New Britain, CT/New Britain) recorded her fourth double-double of the season with team highs of 12 points and 11 rebounds. Aspen Price-Perry (Lindenwold/Lindenwold) tossed in nine points for the Ospreys, who played their first of three consecutive games against ranked opponents.

After falling behind 21-12, Stockton outscored Kean 15-7 over the next seven minutes to pull within 28-27 late in the first half. Price-Perry hit two three-pointers and scored a total of seven points during the run. Kean sank the final basket of the half for a 30-27 edge at intermission. Fagan led the Ospreys with eight points and 10 rebounds in the first stanza.

Kean overwhelmed Stockton right from the start of the second half, reeling off 18 unanswered points as the Ospreys went scoreless for 6:31 and fell behind 48-27. Stockton later tallied 12 straight points to cut a 52-31 deficit down to nine at 52-43 after a free throw by Che’Na Thompson (Salem/Salem) who scored all eight of her points in the second half. The Ospreys were unable to get any closer in the final 5:14, and they fell 63-51.
