Boxscore
Richard Stockton (12-4, 3-2) had its six-game winning streak snapped with a 63-57 defeat to NJAC North leader William Paterson (15-1, 5-0) in a key midseason conference game. Michael Farrow (Whitesboro/Middle Twp.) led the Ospreys with a season-high 20 points. Farrow hit three three-pointers and shot 8-16 from the field. Omar Smith (Newark/Central) contributed 10 points and six rebounds but Stockton produced its lowest offensive total of the season.

The Ospreys started strong as Farrow and Pat Kelly (Cape May CH/Wildwood Catholic) drained three-pointers during an 8-2 spurt that gave Stockton a 20-10 lead. William Paterson rallied and pulled ahead 30-29 before Farrow sank another trey to end the first-half scoring with the Ospreys on top 32-30. Farrow (11) and Kelly (9) combined for 20 of Stockton’s 32 points in the period.

In the second half, a three-point play by Farrow gave Stockton a 53-52 edge with 4:39 to play. A William Paterson basket was answered by a jumper from Santini Lancioni (Runnemede/Paul VI) to put the Ospreys ahead 55-54 with 3:31 to play. After another Pioneers bucket, Farrow hit a layup to give Stockton a 57-56 lead with 2:38 on the clock but the Ospreys did not score again and fell 63-57.
