Richard Stockton (13-4) used torrid shooting and balanced scoring to defeat Eastern University (7-8) 82-74 in a non-conference road game. Michael Farrow (Whitesboro/Middle Twp.) led five double-digit Stockton scorers with 16 points. Santini Lancioni (Runnemede/Paul VI) and Omar Smith (Newark/Central) contributed 14 points apiece while Lancioni also tallied eight assists and six boards.

DiAndre Brown (Sicklerville/Camden Co. Tech) added 13 points on 6-7 shooting and Pat Kelly (Cape May CH/Wildwood Catholic) went 4-4 from three-point range for 12 points. As a team, Stockton shot 57.7 percent from the floor, including 6-12 (50%) from beyond the arc. The Ospreys hit a blistering 60 percent of their shots in the first half and went 5-8 on three-pointers in building a 37-25 lead at the break. Farrow led Stockton with 10 first-half points followed by Kelly with nine markers on three treys.

In the second half, Kai Massaquoi (Lawnside/Haddon Hts.) capped a six-point spurt with layup off an assist by Lancioni for Stockton’s biggest lead at 49-34 with 15:22 remaining. From there, the Ospreys were never seriously challenged as they led by at least eight points until the final minute of the 82-74 win. Massaquoi played another strong all-around game, finishing with seven points, eight rebounds, eight assists and four steals.
