Richard Stockton (7-9, 2-4) led for most of the game but fell victim to a late offensive drought that caused a 66-60 defeat to Rowan (10-6, 4-2). Che’Na Thompson (Salem/Salem) scored a team-high 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds while Nancy White (Ocean City/Ocean City) tossed in 12 points and dished four assists. Aliyah Nelson (Pleasantville/St. Joseph) and LaTonya Oliver (West Berlin/Overbrook) also reached double figures with 11 and 10 points respectively.

White later sank a layup to give the Ospreys their first of three eight-point leads at 25-17. Stockton held a 35-27 edge after Noelle Hogan (Mullica Hill/Clearview) scored two of her eight points, but Rowan got within 35-31 as Stockton went scoreless for the last three minutes of the half.

After Rowan tied the game at 35, the Ospreys regained the lead with a six-point burst on a Hogan layup and four free throws by Nelson. Stockton led 54-46 after a jumper by Thompson with 9:37 on the clock, but the Ospreys were outscored 20-6 the rest of the way. With 4:03 to play, Rowan took its first lead since the opening two minutes and Stockton was unable to rally. The Ospreys went 6:05 without a field goal until Nelson ended the drought with a basket eight seconds before the end of the 66-60 defeat.
