Boxscore Stockton opened up an early 15-8 lead as Thompson scored five points during an 8-0 run. Ramapo answered with a 9-0 spurt of its own and the Ospreys did not lead again until the second half. Following a Stockton turnover, Ramapo hit a three-pointer at the buzzer for a 32-26 edge at the break. Thompson carried the offense with 11 points while no other Ospreys netted more than five in the period. Nelson sparked the Ospreys with 18-second half points to lead the Stockton rally. Nelson hit two free throws with 5:05 remaining that snapped the ninth tie of the game and gave Stockton a 55-53 lead that it would not relinquish. Thompson later sealed the win by hitting six straight foul shots at the end. The Ospreys outscored Ramapo 48-25 in the second half and went 30-36 (83.3%) at the line in the game to post the 74-57 triumph. |
