Boxscore Stockton jumped to a 21-13 lead midway through the first half on the strength of a 13-2 run that included four free throws by Matt Haddix (Sicklerville/Vineland) and a three-pointer from Kelly. TCNJ rallied and pulled ahead 32-30 before the Ospreys scored five of the last seven points of the half on a three-pointer by Farrow and a layup by Haddix that gave Stockton a 35-34 edge at intermission. Haddix provided a lift with eight points off the bench while Smith led the Ospreys with nine. TCNJ regained the lead early in the second half and held it for most of the next eight minutes before Kelly put Stockton back on top for good with a three-pointer that resulted in a 58-56 edge for the Ospreys. Kelly’s fourth trey of the game later sealed the outcome, giving Stockton a 71-61 lead with just 2:34 remaining. The Ospreys scored 17 of their 40 second-half points at the free throw line and won 75-67. |
