Richard Stockton (17-6, 7-4) took over sole possession of first place in the NJAC South Division with a resounding 82-55 victory over Rowan (15-7, 6-5). Santini Lancioni (Runnemede/ Paul VI) led the Ospreys with a career-high 27 points and now needs just 20 more to reach 1,000 for his career. Lancioni hit seven three-pointers and Stockton went 11-26 (42.3%) from beyond the arc in the game.

Kai Massaquoi (Lawnside/Haddon Hts.) chipped in with 14 points while teammate Omar Smith (Newark/Central) added 10 points and a game-high nine rebounds for the Ospreys. Stockton’s defense forced 24 turnovers that led to easy baskets and the Ospreys shared the ball for 17 assists on their 26 field goals. Ten of Stockton’s 13 players scored points in the game.

Stockton jumped out to a 30-15 lead before settling for a 35-28 advantage at the break behind 15 first-half points by Lancioni. The Ospreys outscored Rowan 29-10 over a 10-minute span in the second half, with Massaquoi and Michael Farrow (Whitesboro/Middle Twp.) netting eight points apiece during the decisive run. A steal and dunk by Massaquoi capped the onslaught and gave Stockton a commanding 64-39 lead with 9:45 on the clock. The Ospreys cruised from there and posted the 82-55 win.
