Richard Stockton (18-6, 8-4) defeated Rutgers-Camden (6-18, 1-11) 85-74 for its third consecutive win over an NJAC South opponent. With the victory, the Ospreys also clinched a first-round bye for the upcoming NJAC tournament. Omar Smith (Newark/Central) and Kai Massaquoi (Lawnside/Haddon Hts.) led Stockton with 20 points apiece. DiAndre Brown (Sicklerville/Camden Co. Tech) and Michael Farrow (Whitesboro/Middle Twp.) each added 12 points.

Massaquoi scored eight early points as Stockton raced out to a 13-0 lead in the first four minutes. Rutgers-Camden fought back to take a 29-27 lead before Smith tallied five points in the last 3:41 to help Stockton pull ahead 38-34 at the break. Massaquoi scored a team-high 10 first-half points on 5-6 shooting and the Stockton defense forced 12 turnovers.

A three-point play by Massaquoi early in the second half ignited a 7-0 run that gave the Ospreys a 50-38 cushion. Later, Stockton broke the game open with another 7-0 spurt during which Santini Lancioni (Runnemede/Paul VI) scored five of his 10 points. The outburst resulted in a 69-55 lead with 8:24 to play and the Ospreys went on to the 85-74 win after shooting 58.6 percent in the second half.
