Santini Lancioni (Runnemede/Paul VI) surpassed the 1,000-point mark and finished with 21 points as Richard Stockton (19-6, 9-4) outscored College of New Jersey (13-11, 5-8) 99-85. Omar Smith (Newark/Central) dominated the paint with 26 points and 13 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season as the senior duo shined in their final regular season home game. Smith shot 12-15 from the field and also blocked five shots.

Lancioni hit a three-pointer with 4:19 left in the first half to become the 26th Stockton men’s basketball player to score 1,000 career points, a list that includes his older brother Mario (1,277 points from 2004-08). The trey ignited a 10-3 run that gave the Ospreys a 39-29 lead but TCNJ later scored five points in the final nine seconds of the half to trim Stockton’s edge to four at 41-37. Lancioni led all scorers with 12 first-half points.

In the second half, a three-point play by Smith was the key blow during a 7-0 spurt that broke the game open for Stockton. The outburst put the Ospreys ahead 67-56 with 11:03 remaining. Smith scored 18 points in the second half and Stockton shot a blistering 73.5 percent from the field to post its fourth straight triumph, 99-85. Kai Massaquoi (Lawnside/ Haddon Hts.) tossed in 20 points in the game and Michael Farrow (Whitesboro/Middle Twp.) added 18 markers for Stockton.
