Women's Results / Men's Results
Richard Stockton senior Robyn Evangelist (Northfield/ Mainland) won the NCAA Division II/III bracket at the Delaware Invitational (19:16.34) to lead the Ospreys to first place out of five teams. Evangelist’s victory was the first of her career. Stockton first five runners all finished in the top 10 of the 40-runner field.
Morgan Sinclair (Chadds Ford, PA/Unionville) placed fifth (20:59.26), followed by Katherine Rudy (Bound Brook/Bound Brook) in eighth place (21:24.91), Jill Leaness (Plymouth Meeting, PA/Plymouth Whitemarsh) in ninth (21:45.84) and Nicole Salge (Spotswood/Spotswood) in 10th place (21:52.25).
In men’s competition, Abad Akhtar (Brigantine/Atlantic City) placed second (25:48.44) to lead the Ospreys to first place out of six teams in the NCAA Division II/III bracket. Five Stockton runners placed in the top 16 out of 52 runners in the race. Randy Faiges (Bayville/Central Regional) finished ninth (28:25.70) and Pedro Gonzalez (Long Branch/Long Branch) was 13th (28:54.04). Dillon Glasser (Mays Landing/ACIT) placed 15th (29:13.97), followed by James Rivers (Barnegat/Barnegat) in 16th place (29:21.29).
