Boxscore Brett made two saves in the first half and the Ospreys were credited with one shot on goal, which was stopped as the team battled through a scoreless period. In the second half, College of New Jersey got on the board first at 52:10 on a 15-yard shot into the right side of the net. Stockton pulled into a 1-1 tie on an impressive goal by Duarte, who received a feed from Ali Gocmez (Delran/Delran) with his back to the net and somehow volleyed a shot under the crossbar with 11:40 remaining. Neither team could break through for the game-winner the rest of the way, resulting in the 1-1 tie. The game was originally scheduled for September 22 but was postponed at that time due to lightning. |
