Boxscore After 81 scoreless minutes of the tense affair, Rachel Carlson (Mullica Twp. /Oakcrest) broke loose near the NJCU goal, where she sent a pass across the goal mouth that Pocoroba put away with 8:27 remaining for the eventual game-winner. New Jersey City drew two corner kicks in the final two minutes, but the Gothic Knights were unsuccessful in their bid to tie the match and Stockton prevailed 1-0. Ospreys’ goalkeeper Sarah Hinkle (Mullica Hill/Paul VI) made eight saves in posting her third shutout in the last four games and fourth overall. With the win, Stockton advanced to face top-seeded College of New Jersey in the NJAC semifinals, where the Ospreys will try to advance to the NJAC championship for the fourth straight year. |
