Boxscore The Roadrunners opened the scoring in the first half on a goal at 24:33, and Ramapo held a 1-0 lead at the break. Dutko tied the game for Stockton with an unassisted blast at the 46:03 mark of the second half before Ramapo scored the eventual game-winner just over five minutes later at 51:18. The Ospreys were unable to net the tying goal over the final 18-plus minutes and they suffered the 2-1 defeat. Stockton seniors O’Kane, Danielle Morris (Millstone/Allentown) and Cory Silvio (Vineland/ Vineland) were honored before their final college game. All three players were four-year letter winners at Stockton and veterans on a young team that is building toward the future. Twenty of Stockton’s 31 goals this season were scored by freshmen, with rookie Susie Balidemaj (Hamilton/Hamilton East) leading the way with school single-season records of 12 goals and 27 points. |
