Boxscore Price-Perry sank her first trey 21 seconds after the opening tip to give Stockton its only lead of the game at 3-2. Muhlenberg controlled the later stages of the half and opened up a 14-point lead twice in the last six minutes before the Ospreys closed the gap to 11 at the break. Stockton’s deficit might have been smaller if the Ospreys had been able to convert at the free throw line, where they went just 5-18 (27.8%). Price-Perry and Oliver led the second half charge, scoring 13 and 10 points respectively in the stanza. After the game, Price-Perry and Thompson were named to the All-Tournament Team for their outstanding play during the two-day affair. |
