Richard Stockton (10-4) edged Baruch (12-4) 81-80 for its third straight win and also ended the Bearcats’ five-game winning streak. Julia Fagan (New Britain, CT/New Britain) led five double-digit scorers for Stockton with 20 points and Aspen Price-Perry (Lindenwold/Lindenwold) tossed in 17 points.

Erin MacAdams (Gloucester/Gloucester) netted a career-high 11 points while LaTonya Oliver (West Berlin/Overbrook) grabbed a career-high 20 rebounds and scored 10 points. Aliyah Nelson (Pleasantville/St. Joseph) also contributed 10 points for the Ospreys.

After Baruch jumped out to an 11-4 lead, Stockton outscored the Bearcats 31-12 over the next 11 minutes for a 35-23 lead following a Price-Perry three-pointer with 3:18 on the clock. Baruch netted the last four points of the half at the line to cut Stockton’s lead to 37-29 at the break. Fagan led everyone with 10 first-half points.

In the second half, MacAdams and Price-Perry hit consecutive treys and Price-Perry followed with two free throws to cap an 8-0 run that increased the Stockton lead to its largest of the game at 54-40 with 13:42 to play. Later, Baruch used a 7-0 spurt to rally within 59-57 with 6:38 remaining.

Stockton extended its lead to back nine on two free throws by Price-Perry with 1:27 on the clock but Baruch fought back again, getting within 78-77 with 11 seconds left. MacAdams hit two free throws and Che’Na Thompson (Salem/Salem) added the clincher for an 81-77 lead before Baruch hit an inconsequential three-pointer at the buzzer for the 81-80 final.
