Boxscore The Ospreys led 35-31 at the half before the Eagles took control in the second stanza. Stockton had the early lead up to as much as nine points midway through the first half, led by Massaquoi with seven of his nine first-half points in the opening 10 minutes. The Eagles clawed their way back to within one point before Stockton increased its lead to four on a late three-pointer by Mike Pendleton (Pennsauken/Pennsauken) that was the last basket of the period. Eastern then used a 10-2 run after the break to forge ahead 41-37. Stockton took the lead for the last time on a three-pointer by Kelly with just over six minutes remaining, but the Eagles ran off six straight points to take the lead for good. Kelly hit another three-pointer to get the Ospreys within 53-51 with 3:07 to play, but they were outscored 11-2 the rest of the way. Stockton managed just 18 points in the second half and fell 64-53. |
