Richard Stockton (9-4, 4-0) shot a blistering 59 percent during the first half en route to an 82-55 victory over New Jersey City (2-12, 0-5 NJAC). LaTonya Oliver (West Berlin/Overbrook) continued her sterling play, leading the Ospreys with 16 points and three blocked shots. Oliver shot 8-9 (88.9%) from the field and leads the NJAC in field goal percentage and blocks.

Julia Fagan (New Britain, CT/New Britain) netted 14 points and freshman Lauren Alwan (Winslow/Timber Creek) added 10 in the win. Noelle Hogan (Mullica Hill/Clearview) led all rebounders with a game-high 12 boards in just 17 minutes to tie her career high on the glass.

Oliver hit two early baskets as Stockton jumped out to a 13-2 lead. The Ospreys stretched the lead to as much as 29 before finishing the half with a 49-27 advantage. Oliver tallied 14 of her points in her first 20 minutes. The Osprey defense forced 13 turnovers during the stanza that led to easy baskets, and totaled 23 overall.

New Jersey City opened the second half on a 7-2 run before Stockton regained control. Fagan scored eight points as the Ospreys pulled away for the win with a game-clinching 14-3 run that resulted in a 65-37 lead with 11:20 to play. The margin later ballooned to 32 as Stockton coasted to the 82-55 triumph. Everybody on the Stockton roster played at least eight minutes and 12 Ospreys scored.
