Boxscore
Richard Stockton (10-5, 4-1 NJAC) lost for the first time in NJAC play this season, dropping a 68-61 contest to Rowan (9-7, 4-2) that was the Ospreys’ third straight loss to the Profs. Stockton was led by LaTonya Oliver (West Berlin/Overbrook) with a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds.

Lauren Alwan (Winslow/Timber Creek) scored 12 points and Che'Na Thompson (Salem/Salem) chipped in with 11 points. The Ospreys shot just 4-23 (17.4%) from three-point range in the game.

Stockton led 13-8 after a three-pointer by Erin MacAdams (Gloucester/Gloucester) midway through the first half before Rowan began to take control of the game. The Ospreys’ poor shooting in the period, combined with the Profs’ up-tempo game, resulted in a 33-27 Stockton deficit at the break. The Ospreys shot just 10-35 (28.6%) during the opening stanza and fell victim to a 10-4 Rowan spurt in the last two minutes of the half.

In the second half, the margin reached 13 points before the Ospreys started to gain momentum and fight their way back. Stockton closed to within two at 60-58 after Alwan capped an 11-2 run by sinking two free throws with just over three minutes remaining. Despite the rally, the Ospreys could not overtake Rowan as the Profs went 8-10 at the line in the last 2:19 to keep the lead and defeat Stockton 68-61.
