Richard Stockton senior Julia Fagan (New Britain, CT/New Britain) scored her 1,000th career point to highlight a 72-53 victory by the Ospreys (12-5) over Hunter (6-12). Fagan finished with a game-high 18 points plus 10 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season. The forward went 6-9 from the floor and a perfect 6-6 at the line.

Che’Na Thompson (Salem/Salem) also posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 boards while Aspen Price-Perry (Lindenwold/Lindenwold) contributed 17 points. Stockton held Hunter to just 29.1 percent shooting from the field and won for the fifth time in its last six games.

Fagan entered the contest with 982 career points and reached the 1,000-point plateau on two free throws with 11:14 remaining, her final points of the game. Fagan, who scored 447 points as a freshman at Southern Vermont and the rest after transferring to Stockton, became the ninth player to score her 1,000th point in an Osprey uniform.

Thompson scored seven points as Stockton closed the first half with a 13-3 run to break open a close game. The Ospreys led 38-27 at the break and stayed in front by double digits for all but 49 seconds of the second half. Thompson led Stockton with 13 first-half points and Price-Perry exploded for 14 points after the break, including nine in the last three minutes as the Ospreys closed out the 72-53 win.
