Boxscore DiAndre Brown (Sicklerville/Camden Co. Tech) tossed in 17 points and Pat Kelly (Cape May CH/Wildwood Catholic) went 5-8 from three-point range for 15 points. Stockton led from start to finish and cracked the century mark for the first time since a 103-60 rout of Farmingdale State in the 2009 NCAA quarterfinals. Usuwa scored six early points to spark Stockton to a 15-4 lead, but Brooklyn later used a 13-3 spurt to pull within 23-20. Kelly provided the big blows with three three-pointers as the Ospreys responded to the challenge with a 19-2 run that gave them a 42-22 advantage. Stockton shot a torrid 64.5 percent from the floor and went 9-15 (60%) from the beyond the arc to forge a 50-29 halftime lead. The fast pace continued in the second half as the teams combined for 104 points in 20 minutes. Ibn Moye (Toms River/Central Regional) opened the scoring with his third three-pointer on three attempts and Brown followed with a dunk to give Stockton its largest lead at 55-29. From there, the Ospreys maintained a comfortable lead of at least 15 points and cruised to the 101-82 victory. |
