Richard Stockton (14-7, 6-3 NJAC) ran out to a 10-point halftime lead, then shot a blistering 16-27 (59.3%) in the second half and cruised to an 83-57 victory over Hunter College (10-11).

Stockton posted its third straight victory and sixth in their last seven games. Kai Massaquoi (Lawnside/Haddon Hts.) topped a quartet of double-digit scorers for Stockton with 24 points.

Massaquoi led the way by scoring 13 of his game-high 24 points in the first half as the Ospreys took a 36-26 advantage at the break after leading by as much as 13 in the period. Stockton shot just 1-9 from behind the arc but overcame its struggles from long range by shooting 11-14 (78.6%) at the free throw line and scoring 11 points off 13 Hunter turnovers.

Pat Kelly (Cape May CH/Wildwood Catholic) was held scoreless before the break and then exploded for 12 points in the second half by connecting on all four of his three-point attempts. As a team, Stockton went a torrid 8-12 (66.7%) from three-point range in the second stanza. Kelly sank three treys during an 18-4 run that broke the game open and resulted in a 63-42 lead with 8:50 to play. From there, Stockton cruised to the 83-57 victory.

Nnamdi Usuwa (Colonia/Colonia) and DiAndre Brown (Sicklerville/Camden County Tech) chipped in with 11 and 10 points respectively. Massaquoi also grabbed nine rebounds and registered five of the Ospreys’ 16 steals while Brown grabbed eight boards.
