Boxscore
Richard Stockton (16-9, 8-5 NJAC) rallied from a 15-point deficit and led by six before a late scoring drought sank the Ospreys in a 55-53 loss to Kean (18-7, 10-3).

Ibn Moye (Toms River/Central Regional) made his first seven shots, including four three-pointers, and finished with a career-high 19 points. The defeat left Stockton with the NJAC South Division No. 2 seed for the upcoming conference tournament.

Nnamdi Usuwa (Colonia/Colonia) scored 13 points and grabbed a team-high six rebounds while Pat Kelly (Cape May CH/Wildwood Catholic) tossed in 10 points. The Ospreys shot a dismal 13-28 (46.4%) from the free throw line in the two-point defeat. Stockton struggled mightily in the first half and trailed 28-15 at the break, finishing with more turnovers (16) than points and shooting just 5-20 (25%) from the floor and 4-9 (44%) at the line.

After Kean opened the second half with an alley-oop dunk for a 30-15 score, Stockton finally came to life. Moye scored 13 points as the Ospreys used a 22-6 run to take their first lead of the game at 37-36 on two free throws by Adam Floyd (Northfield/Mainland) at the 13:43 mark. Stockton’s lead reached six on a layup by Massaquoi with 5:53 remaining and again on a three-pointer by Kelly with 2:43 to play.

The 53-47 lead evaporated as Stockton went scoreless for the rest of the game. Kean pulled ahead by tallying the final eight points of the contest while the Ospreys went 0-4 from the floor, 0-2 at the line and committed two turnovers in the last 2:13 of the disheartening 55-53 defeat.
