Game 1 / Game 2
Richard Stockton (10-2) extended its winning streak to nine games by defeating Gettysburg 8-3 in the opener of a doubleheader, but the Bullets responded by topping Stockton 8-1 in the nightcap to halt the Ospreys’ run of victories.

Jason Gordon (Brick/Brick Memorial) and Travis Marra (Toms River/TR East) each went 3-4 with two RBI in the opener. Shawn Kessler (Bayville/Central Regional) was 2-4 with a pair of doubles in the 8-3 victory.

Kessler ignited a three-run second inning with a leadoff double and scored the first run of the game when Marra followed with an RBI single. Gordon later capped the spurt with an RBI single to give the Ospreys a 3-0 lead.

Adam Warburton (Sewell/Washington Twp.) earned the win on the mound to improve to 3-0 on the season. Warburton tossed six scoreless innings, allowing just four hits and striking out seven. Gettysburg touched up the Stockton bullpen for three runs in the seventh frame to spoil the shutout.

The Bullets held Stockton to seven hits and downed the Ospreys 8-1 in the nightcap. Gordon went 3-4 with two doubles and Dan McGuckin (Sicklerville/Winslow Twp.) was 1-3 with a run scored. Gettysburg took a 2-0 lead in the second inning and then broke the game open with five runs in the next three frames for a 7-1 advantage that Stockton could not overcome.
