Richard Stockton (12-2) improved to 5-1 on its Florida trip by sweeping a doubleheader from Centenary 6-2 and 8-6. Travis Marra (Toms River/TR East) led the Ospreys, going 5-6 with four runs and four RBI in the twinbill.

Marra went 3-3 with two runs and two RBI in the opener. Jason Gordon (Brick/Brick Memorial) was 1-3 with two RBI while Mike Bush (Manahawkin/Southern) doubled and registered an RBI in the 6-2 victory.

Bill Barron (Hamilton/Steinert) earned his first career victory on the mound, allowing two runs on six hits with four strikeouts in five innings of work.

In the nightcap, Stockton trailed by two runs twice before snapping a 6-6 tie with a pair of runs in the top of the seventh for the 8-6 triumph. Closer John Lightbody (Toms River/TR East) pitched a scoreless bottom half for his school-record sixth save of the season.

Zach Brebner (Toms River/TR North) earned the win in relief, tossing two innings and yielding two runs on two hits. Marra went 2-3 with a double, two RBI and two runs. Dan McGuckin (Sicklerville/Winslow Twp.) and Chris Wedding (Toms River/TR East) each contributed two hits and an RBI.
