Richard Stockton (14-4) wrapped up its spring break trip to Florida with a pair of one-run victories over Gettysburg by scores of 2-1 and 3-2. The Ospreys finished with a 7-3 record during their stay in the Sunshine State.

Jason Gordon (Brick/Brick Memorial) and Travis Marra (Toms River/TR East) each went 3-4 while Chris Wedding (Toms River/TR East) was 2-3 in the first game. Gordon singled in the winning run in the bottom of the sixth.

Freshman lefty Adam Warburton (Sewell/Washington Twp.) improved to 4-0 on the season, allowing one run on eight hits with two strikeouts in six innings pitched. John Lightbody (Toms River/TR East) tossed a scoreless seventh inning for the save.

In the nightcap, Dan McGuckin (Sicklerville/Winslow Twp.) tripled and scored on an RBI single by Shawn Kessler (Bayville/Central Regional) in the top of the seventh to give Stockton a 3-1 lead. Lightbody yielded one run in the bottom half but protected the lead for his second save of the day.

Freshman Brandon Trainor (Manahawkin/Southern) earned his first career victory. In five innings pitched, Trainor scattered seven hits and struck out two while yielding just one unearned run. The Ospreys registered just five hits on offense but still came away with another one-run victory.
