 STOCKTON TEAMS EACH SECOND AT DELAWARE VALLEY

The Richard Stockton men’s women’s cross country teams each finished second behind Philadelphia University in the Delaware Valley Invitational.

Randy Faiges (Bayville/Central Regional) finished fourth in the men’s 8k race with a time of 27:39.90 while Morgan Sinclair (Chadds Ford, PA/Unionville) placed fourth in the women’s 6k race at 25:09.40. Fourth place marked the best career finish for both Faiges and Sinclair.

Laura Warren (Bellmawr/Triton) and Jim Codianni (Medford/Shawnee) joined Sinclair and Faiges in the top 10, placing eighth and 10th in their respective races with times of 25:32.03 for Warren and 28:08.74 for Codianni.

All five scoring Ospreys finished in the top 20 of the men’s race. Alex Bruno (Voorhees/Eastern) placed 11th (28:10.72) followed by James Rivers (Barnegat/Barnegat) in 17th place (28:44.44) one spot ahead of Matt Ardelean (Margate/ Atlantic City).

Nicole Salge (Spotswood/Spotswood) was the third Stockton female to finish in the top20, placing 19th at 26:18.88. Caitlin Kozlowski (Hillsborough/Hillsborough) and Lindsay Tallman (Tuckerton/Pinelands) finished 26th (27:16.88) and 27th (27:17.87) respectively in their first college race.
