STOCKTON MEN WIN, WOMEN SECOND AT DELAWARE |

Men's Results / Women's Results The Richard Stockton men’s cross country team won the Division II/III bracket of the Delaware Invitational while the Osprey women’s team placed second. Individually, sophomore Morgan Sinclair (Chadds Ford, PA/ Unionville) earned her first career victory, besting 68 runners with a first-place time of 23:54.49 in the women’s 6k race. In the men’s race, Jim Codianni (Medford/Shawnee) led a group of four consecutive Stockton finishers by placing fourth in 27:25.72 for eight kilometers. Alex Bruno (Voorhees/ Eastern) was next across the finish line in fifth place at 27:45.96. Randy Faiges (Bayville/Central Regional) and James Rivers (Barnegat/Barnegat) followed in sixth and seventh respectively with times of 28:11.27 and 28:13.89. Sinclair was supported by four additional Ospreys who finished in the top 12 of the women’s race. Nicole Salge (Spotswood/Spotswood) placed eighth with a time of 25:27.16 and Caitlyn Kozlowski (Hillsborough/Hillsborough) was 10th at 25:37.40. Next came Laura Warren (Bellmawr/Triton) in 11th place with a time of 25:44.19, just ahead of Barbara Prokopiuk (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) who crossed the line in 25:48.63 for 12th place. |
