Ibn Moye (Toms River/Central Regional) later capped a 15-6 run with a three-pointer that gave Stockton its biggest lead of the night at 38-27. Although TCNJ cut into the gap, the Ospreys still led 40-35 at the break behind McDonough’s 10 first-half points. Stockton stayed in front by shooting 54.2% from the floor in the second half. After the Lions pulled within one with 12:24 remaining, McCargo answered with six consecutive points on a three-pointer and traditional three-point play for a 60-53 advantage. TCNJ later cut an eight-point Stockton lead down to one twice in the last 2:19 of the game, but Brown went 5-6 at the line in the final 1:45 to clinch the 79-77 victory for the Ospreys. |
