SOULE NAMED SKYLINE LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK |
 Richard Stockton senior Dave Soule (Kinnelon/Kinnelon) was named Skyline Conference Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week after leading the Ospreys to victories in their opening two games. Soule totaled eight goals and one assist for nine points in the first week of the season.
Soule netted seven goals and dished one assist to spark Stockton to a 14-10 victory over Neumann in the season opener on February 29. The attackman then was one of seven different Ospreys to score a goal in a 7-6 triumph over Centenary on March 3. Thanks to his fast start, Soule has grabbed the early goal-scoring lead in the Skyline Conference with an average of 4.00 tallies per game. Soule joined the Stockton team last year as a transfer after two seasons at County College of Morris. He played in all 14 games and finished fourth on the team in scoring with 13 goals and seven assists for 20 points in 2011. |
