Richard Stockton (6-6) began its five-match stint in Hilton Head with a tough contest against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (NY) (4-1) in which the Ospreys were blanked 9-0.

Sam Koropchak (West Milford/West Milford) and Laura Church (Wall/Ranney School) each battled in close opening sets at third and fourth singles respectively, but they both came up short 6-3 and later fell in straight sets.

The four additional singles matches also were decided in two sets after the Ospreys were downed in all three doubles contests by scores of 8-1, 8-2 and 8-1 from top to bottom.
