| Women Place Eighth, Men 10th at DeSales Invitational | ||||
The Stockton women’s cross country team finished eighth out of 23 teams with 253 points while the men’s cross country team placed 10th out of 20 with 270 points at the DeSales Invitational. Freshman Abad Akhtar (Atlantic City/Atlantic City) placed second in the men’s 8k race with a time of 26:48.48. Michelle Barile (Oak Ridge/Jefferson Twp.) finished 26th in the women’s 6k race with a time of 25:25.07.
Robyn Evangelist (Northfield/Mainland) posted a time of 26:11.21 for 44th place and Emily Peregrin (South Plainfield/Koinonia Academy) finished 51st with a time of 26:35.60 in the women’s event. For the Stockton men’s team, Joe Ennis (West Windsor/WW-Plainsboro South) crossed the line in 28:20.97 for 30th place and Dan DiRocco (Allentown/Allentown) finished at 29:55.00 for 62nd place. |
