Women Finish Second, Men Fifth at NJAC Championships

The Stockton women’s cross country team finished second with 74 points while the men’s cross country team placed fifth with 126 points in the NJAC Championships, held on the Stockton campus.  Michelle Barile (Oak Ridge/Jefferson Twp.) led a group of five top-20 finishers for the Stockton women’s team by placing eighth with a time of 24:20.47 in the 6k race.  Abad Akhtar (Atlantic City/Atlantic City) was the top male runner for Stockton, placing fourth overall with a time of 26:11.69 in the 8k race.
 
Emily Peregrin (South Plainfield/Koinonia Academy) finished 11th in 24:48.16 and Robyn Evangelist (Northfield/ Mainland) placed 16th with a time of 25:21.85 for the Stockton women’s team.  In men’s competition, Joe Ennis (West Windsor/WW-Plainsboro South) earned 12th place at 26:52.25 and Dan DiRocco (Allentown/Allentown) finished in 30:24.08 for 33rd place.
