Stockton 111, Medgar Evers 75

Richard Stockton (4-1) routed Medgar Evers (0-4) 111-75 in the consolation game of the Manhattanville Castle Classic.  Jerome Hubbard (Neptune/Neptune) hit five three-pointers for a team-high 15 points.  Kai Massaquoi (Lawnside/ Haddon Hts.) scored 12 points and dished a career-high five assists.  Freshman Mike Pendleton (Pennsauken/ Pennsauken) tossed in 11 points while Santini Lancioni (Runnemede/Paul VI) added seven points and a career-high eight assists.

Hubbard began and ended an early 18-0 run with his first two three-pointers of the game as Stockton raced out to an 18-2 lead in the opening three minutes.  The Ospreys continued to score and pull away, leading 61-21 after a jumper by Pendleton with 2:33 left in the first half.  Stockton shot 64.9% from the field in the period, including 7-16 (43.8%) from three-point range, and built a 65-31 lead at the break.  Hubbard scored all 15 of his points in the period.

The Stockton bench took over in the second half and the Ospreys led by at least 31 points for the entire period.  All 15 players scored points in the game and Stockton cruised to the 111-75 victory.  The 111 points were the most scored by Stockton since a 114-point explosion against Rutgers-Camden on January 26, 2000.  Michael Farrow (Whitesboro/Middle Twp.) was named to the All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the tournament.
