14th-ranked Richard Stockton (12-1) won the Scranton Radisson Invitational with a 77-62 victory over tournament-host Scranton (7-4). Tournament MVP Omar Smith (Newark/Central) scored a career-high 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Santini Lancioni (Runnemede/Paul VI) tossed in a career-high 20 points and joined Smith on the All-Tournament Team. Michael Farrow (Whiteside/Middle Twp.) added 12 points for Stockton.

Farrow scored six points and Smith netted five during a 16-1 run that gave Stockton a 36-24 lead. A free throw by Smith later closed the first half scoring with the Ospreys on top 40-33. Lancioni led Stockton with 11 first-half points, followed by Farrow with eight. In the period, the Ospreys drained seven three-pointers and went 9-11 (81.8%) at the line, led by Farrow who was a perfect 6-6.

In the second half, Lancioni capped an 8-0 spurt with a three-pointer that extended Stockton’s lead to 15 points at 50-35. The trey was the fourth of Lancioni’s five three-pointers in the game. The Ospreys scored just six points in the next 7:40 as Scranton pulled within 56-54. Farrow then ended the threat with two free throws followed by a jumper for a 60-54 advantage. The Ospreys sealed the win with a late 15-3 run that propelled them to their ninth consecutive win, 77-62.
