#13 Stockton 83, Rowan 62

13th-ranked Richard Stockton (16-2, 5-1) shot 58.5 percent from the floor and overpowered Rowan (9-10, 2-5) 83-62 in an NJAC South game for its fourth consecutive win. Jerome Hubbard (Neptune/Neptune) hit six three-pointers and led the balanced Stockton offense with a game-high 21 points. Michael Farrow (Whiteside/Middle Twp.) scored 17 points while Santini Lancioni (Runnemede/Paul VI) tallied 13 points and a career-high 10 assists for a double-double.

Omar Smith (Newark/Central) also poured in 13 points and Isham Poe (Westville/Deptford) completed the quintet of double-digit scorers for the Ospreys with 10 points. After Rowan built an early 10-5 lead, Stockton outscored the Profs 22-6 over the next 11 minutes for a 27-16 advantage. Lancioni led the charge with eight points and Farrow added six during the spree. Hubbard later scored four points in the final minute of the half to stake the Ospreys to a 36-25 lead at the break.

In the second half, Stockton led 46-29 after a three-pointer by Farrow with 17:23 remaining, but the Profs rallied to within single digits, 58-49, with 10:41 to play. Lancioni began a 10-0 run with a three-pointer and Farrow followed with a trey. When Hubbard capped the spurt with a layup, the Ospreys held a sizeable 68-49 lead. Overall, Hubbard scored 14 second-half points and Stockton shot a torrid 68 percent from the field in the second half to win going away, 83-62, for its fourth straight victory.
